How to find paradise 🌅
If paradise was a location, where would it be?
Taoism refers to paradise as a state of mind, not a location.
Finding Paradise
I found it, paradise at last.
At first sight, it resembled the entrance to a labyrinth. During a three-year travel adventure, my daydreaming infused vibrancy into my vision.
Coming to terms with reality, it wasn’t easy to awaken. It’s possible to confuse daydreams and illusions, but paradise is no mirage, it’s real.
If you can reach it, a new path begins.
Nestled approximately 100km from the Ecuadorian border, I stumbled upon paradise. Beyond just influencing the nearby volcanoes, the energy of this equatorial line seems to seep into your very being, imbuing your state of mind with minerals like a sponge.
For some, a short visit turns into years-long stays, while others find themselves never wanting to depart. Day or night, amidst the mineral-rich surroundings and the ethereal dreamscape, there’s an undeniable sense that something extraordinary is at play.
This is no fictional story, this location exists.
As awe-inspiring as renowned archaeological sites, this place bears a striking resemblance to an ancient portal.
Perhaps once activated, it could unlock more than just mere dialogue. Evidently, I’m not the only one who senses this possibility.
NepTUNE to EARth
I’ve gone above and beyond to explore life’s magic. Inspired by our ancestors, present sacrifices are made in order to ensure a prosperous future.
Engaging with mind-altering substances and conducting various experiments served as my personal laboratory, where exploration and discovery knew no bounds.
If there was authenticity, I was testing it.
With thousands of years of tradition handed down through generations, I couldn’t overlook the wisdom embedded in the most venerable sources.
Attentive to the tales of legends, pioneers, and myths, I embraced transformation akin to a chameleon, adapting to new insights and experiences along the way.
Finding paradise is like hitting a gold mine.
Reaching contentment is a feeling I wish for all humanity. Paradise isn’t the buddha's empty mind. It is, for me, a location in which to thrive. Soil that’s alive, and a community that wishes to revive, the honey of life.
Silent meditation retreats, yoga ashrams, psychedelics, and fasting — each offering a departure from the societal norms. But amidst these departures, where does one truly find oneself?
The further away from the city, the smog is replaced with the smell of Eden's garden.
You create your own reality, and if you want paradise to exist, it will certainly arrive.
Para-Dice
In South America, just north of the equator, lies an archeological tourist town where the jungle, desert, and forest converge. All plant life collides, and everything grows year-round.
It’s a sacred site where ancient civilizations created statues, tombs, caves, and underground tunnels. Gold, emeralds, quartz crystals, marble, and much more have been found here.
This place is off the beaten path; an energetic portal that attracts some unique individuals. Surrounding areas include subterranean hot springs to the east, magma hot springs to the west, indigenous medicine headquarters in the south, and one of the largest natural water reserves to the north; it’s a bio-diverse ecosystem with unmatched microclimates.
Eternal spring mountains are the most delicious climate I’ve come to know; never too hot, never too cold. In the exotic coffee region, the abundance goes beyond some of the richest nutrient-dense topsoils. The most desirable bamboo in the world grows here, and the cost of living makes it one of the top destinations to live/retire in the world. A permaculture school, star observatory, and heirloom seed bank certainly add to this town's charm.
European ex-pats have been here for 40 years. Such magic havens are shared by word of mouth. Not often found in tourist guides, these special locations don’t attract too much attention, retaining their essence. Discovering a vibrant place is like a treasure chest. If the location doesn’t outgrow itself, the vibe is preserved. keeping it that way becomes a responsibility for all who choose to stay.
Paradise Compass: In-tu-ition
I recommend replacing travel guides with your life guide: intuition.
Intuition is your paradise compass. It will always lead you to exactly where you need to be. You can locate this “Intuition Life Guide” between your navel and solar plexus. Often referred to as “gut feelings.” That’s the magic place where feelings can guide the body. This guide comes in handy when tough decisions arise. Go with the gut, feeling.
Life is what you make of it. If paradise is sailing the world, the size of the boat doesn’t matter, it’s the action that counts.
Simplifying life certainly helps. Fewer bills, a smaller friend circle, and more free time. Life can pass you by, the same as paradise.
Would you recognize paradise if you saw it?
Experience is key, and time is your treasure chest.
Paradise can be every day. Your home can be your sanctuary. Community is truly the golden nugget. Friendly trustworthy neighbours exist, and you don’t have to settle for what the tv ads sell you. Starting at 25 or 85, reaching a place you deeply connect with has value beyond any monetary system. Paradise is easier to find when you surpass social limitations. A good start is taking more than 2 weeks of vacation a year.
“Dreams come true, paradise exists, and being content is really just finding your tribe” — Ashley NepTUNE
Multiple Versions
The definition of paradise is interpreted differently by each person. Religions associate paradise with either a) Heaven, or b) an intermediate place or state where the souls of the righteous await resurrection and the final judgment. If that for you is 3D reality, then the earth is a perfect habitat.
Multiple names have been given to paradise. A place or state of bliss, felicity, or delight, such as Eden, Elysium, Nirvana, Shangri-la, and many more.
Paradise can be a place of no work or a pagan paradise overseen by other gods; you can have any version. If you have a garden, you know, it’s either meditation or work. My cactus garden is neither, they are the flowering beauties that bring me joy every day.
For the Dreamers
Paradise isn’t for everyone. You have to leave behind your past. Sacrifices are made to get there, and many lose their way. Your problems follow you, best to resolve them before arriving. Cycles repeat, observe what you're bringing with you. less is more, a harmonious life requires you to play the notes.
If you're a dreamer like John Lennon, you are not the only one.
Follow your intuition. Mine led me to places no one recommended. Now, I frequently get messages from people wanting to visit. Some will call you crazy, and others will call you for coffee or tea.
In paradise, you can be yourself. On route, Shedding your skin ensures a healthy transition. When you search paradise on google, images of tropical beaches pop up. Garden paradise has found me. From the ocean shores to New Jerusalem, I wish you find your paradise.
Your paradise awaits, the question is where?
